Dried Moringa
Dried moringa is a commercial raw material made by drying the leaves of moringa (Moringa oleifera) grown in Kagoshima Prefecture. Using drying technology adapted from Chiran tea production, the leaves are processed within a short time after harvest to retain their aroma and color. No glucose, colorings or antioxidants are used. It's a raw material we often receive inquiries about for developing products that make use of moringa's nutritional value and flavor, as an ingredient for tea, blended tea and health foods. It is sourced from a partner factory, so quality is consistent. For consultations on dried vegetable and powder OEM here, let us know the intended application.
The three commitments behind Agriture's dried moringa
01 Kagoshima-grown moringa, drying technique adapted from the Chiran tea process
For the raw material, we use 100% Kagoshima-grown moringa leaves. Adapting the drying technique cultivated in the production of Chiran tea, we move them into the processing step a short time after harvest, finishing them as dried leaves that retain the leaves' aroma and green color. Temperature and humidity control drawing on tea-processing expertise underpins the finished quality of our dried moringa. 02 Zero additives — a simple ingredient of moringa leaves alone
It's finished with moringa leaves alone, without any glucose coating, colorings or antioxidants. When moringa is made into tea, vitamins, minerals and amino acids also transfer into the infusion. The nutritional value and benefits of vegetable powder.
03 Stable supply system from a partner factory
Dried moringa is sourced from a partner factory. It isn't a process Agriture carries out in-house, but it's produced stably at a partner that shares our quality standards, allowing year-round supply. We sell and propose it under the Agriture brand and handle everything in one stop, from OEM-development consultations to arranging prototypes.

Features of commercial dried moringa
Made with 100% Kagoshima-grown moringa leaves. For PB development of superfood products or health teas that want to highlight domestically grown ingredients, it's a raw material that lets you feature the growing region.
Adapting the drying technique cultivated in the production of Chiran tea, the leaves are processed a short time after harvest. Drawing on tea-processing expertise, they're finished as dried leaves that curb the deterioration of moringa leaves' aroma, color, and nutritional components.
Moringa leaves contain vitamins, minerals and amino acids, and these components dissolve out even when brewed as tea.
No glucose, dextrin, antioxidants, or coloring — all excluded. Because the ingredient listing can be kept to just "moringa (domestically grown)," it's a spec well suited to developing health teas for additive-free brands.
Because moringa tea is caffeine-free, it's an ingredient easy to propose as a health tea for those who want to limit caffeine, such as people trying to conceive, or for children (however, please avoid use during pregnancy).
We also handle a powder type made by further grinding the dried leaves. Choose the form to match the application — powder for aojiru, smoothies, and confectionery, leaf for teas and blended teas.

Commitment to variety and growing region
The raw material used in our dried moringa is the leaves of moringa (Moringa oleifera) grown in Kagoshima Prefecture. Moringa is a plant of the Moringaceae family, native to tropical and subtropical regions, and cultivated in Japan in warm areas such as Kagoshima and Okinawa Prefectures. Kagoshima's sunshine and warm climate suit moringa's growth, producing leaves rich in nutritional components. Dried moringa is sourced from a partner factory; it isn't a drying process Agriture carries out in-house, but it's produced stably at a partner that shares our quality standards. We sell and propose it under the Agriture brand and handle everything in one stop, from OEM-development consultations to arranging prototypes.
Variety: Moringaceae family, genus Moringa (Moringa oleifera). It is also called the "miracle tree."
Growing region: Kagoshima-grown. Its warm climate and abundant sunshine suit moringa's growth, making it a region that produces leaves rich in nutritional components.
Drying technique: We use a drying technique adapting the Chiran tea method. Drawing on tea-processing expertise and processing the leaves a short time after harvest, we finish them as dried leaves that curb the deterioration of aroma, color, and nutritional components.
Supply system: As it is sourced from a partner factory, it balances quality stability with year-round supply. With Agriture as your point of contact, we guide you through everything from OEM development consultations to prototyping and full production.
Drying technique and quality control
Moringa leaves oxidize rapidly after harvest and readily yellow. At the partner factory, using a drying technique adapting the Chiran tea method and moving them into the processing step a short time after harvest, they're finished as dried leaves that retain the leaves' aroma and green color. Temperature- and humidity-control know-how cultivated in tea production underpins the quality of our dried moringa.
The product is managed according to Agriture's quality standards, and for OEM projects, we issue necessary documents — specifications, raw-material origin certificates, microbiological test reports, and the like — after discussion on a case-by-case basis.
Steeping moringa tea for 3 to 5 minutes in water at 90 to 95°C thoroughly extracts the nutritional components and flavor from the leaves. Cold-brewing overnight turns it mellow, making it an ingredient easy to develop into a health-tea product for summer. Blending it with hojicha or rooibos improves drinkability and makes it well suited to gift products too.
Use cases and adoption examples
Moringa tea and single-origin tea
The simplest way to use dried moringa leaves is to offer them as-is in tea bags or as leaf tea. With its caffeine-free, nutrient-rich profile, it can be proposed as an option alongside young-barley-leaf tea and rooibos in the health-tea category.
Blended teas and health-tea gifts
Blending it with hojicha, rooibos, lemongrass, peppermint, and the like results in a health-tea product with improved drinkability. Adding a moringa tea to a gift-oriented assortment set also helps differentiate the lineup. See details of our tea OEM service here。
Bath additives and herbal-bath ingredients
There are also cases of using dried moringa leaves filled into nonwoven fabric as a bath pack. Because the moringa green spreads through the bathtub and creates a relaxing bathing experience, it's an application we're consulted about for natural-cosmetics brands and ryokan amenities.
