We began handling “dried moringa” and “moringa powder” using Kagoshima-grown moringa

This time, Agriture has begun handling "dried moringa" and "moringa powder" using Kagoshima-grown moringa. Moringa (Moringa oleifera) is a plant of the Moringaceae family, and because it is rich in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, it is called the "miracle tree" and draws attention as a superfood.

It is processed at a partner factory in Kagoshima Prefecture using a drying technique that applies the Chiran-cha tea method. By entering the drying step within a short time after harvest, the finish retains the color and aroma of the leaf. The dried leaf can be proposed as an ingredient for tea and blended teas, and the powder for a wide range of uses as a blend ingredient for green juice, smoothies, health foods, and protein drinks.

At Agriture, we handle commercial supply and OEM development of domestic superfood ingredients including moringa. Companies interested in product-making that draws on Kagoshima-grown moringa are welcome to inquire.

*Please refrain from use by those who are pregnant or may be pregnant.

Dried turnip can be expected to attract commercial interest as a material for soups, simmered dishes, and pickles, and if processed into powder, it can also be used as a raw material for baby food and nursing-care food. Turnip's characteristic gentle flavor is a material well compatible with children's foods and products for the elderly.

The characteristics of moringa and points of focus for the ingredient

Moringa is a plant of the Moringaceae family, and because its leaves, stems, and seeds all contain abundant nutrients, it is called the "miracle tree" and a "superfood." The moringa Agriture handles is Kagoshima-grown and finished with a processing technique that applies the Chiran-cha method. Quality is stable through sourcing from a partner factory, and it is an ingredient drawing growing demand as a raw material for health foods, tea, and beauty products.Moringa product pageTurnip (kabu) is a root vegetable of the Brassicaceae family, characterized by gentle sweetness and a smooth texture. When dried, its sweetness is concentrated, and when rehydrated with hot water you can enjoy a soft, melting texture. Since it has less fiber than daikon and becomes tender enough to melt when added to soups and simmered dishes, it is also suited as a material for baby food and nursing-care food.
