We also publish original content such as interview articles.

Office food
“Office Yaoya”

A corporate benefit service where 100% domestic-vegetable dried vegetables are kept stocked in the office, and you can easily top up nutrition just by adding them to cup noodles or soup. By upcycling non-standard vegetables, it achieves employees’ health management, farmer support, and food loss reduction all at once. We also publish original content such as adoption case studies.

Dried fruit brand
“A Letter from the Pear”

A specialty brand that delivers stories and food experiences, centered on dried pears made by drying Kyoto-grown “Nijisseiki” pears at low temperature without sugar. Our
features and strengths

Features

We use non-standard vegetables as raw materials

The dried vegetables we manufacture in-house use non-standard-friendly vegetables sourced from partner farmers in Kyoto. Because the growing region and processing site are close by, we work to process them while they are fresh.

Features

Around 100 items handled

Starting with Kyoto-grown dried vegetables, we handle dried vegetables and heirloom vegetables from all across Japan. We also handle around 10 kinds of domestic dried fruit.

Features

We handle Kyoto vegetables and Japanese heirloom vegetables

We handle dried and powder products of Kyoto vegetables and heirloom vegetables that rarely reach the market, and we can source to suit your requests.

Features

OEM and small-pouch filling available from small lots

Beyond selling the vegetables we handle in-house, we have a structure in place to process raw materials you bring in and to do small-pouch filling for commercialization, from small lots.

Features

Extensive track record in OEM processing and novelties

Having started the business from our own brand, we have handled many OEM and novelty projects. Based on the know-how we have cultivated, we make the best proposals.

Features

Members well-versed in the agricultural field

We advance our business drawing on members with over ten years of experience in the intermediate wholesale trade and backgrounds in the agriculture and food fields.

Giving value
to non-standard vegetables with nowhere to go.

Just as delicious, yet rejected from the market solely for uneven appearance or shape. We felt an issue in the way such non-standard vegetables have nowhere to go. The crops that farmers raise with great devotion each have their own value. We want to properly convey that value and build a system that can circulate it. Agriture’s sustainability began from that thought.

By giving new roles to non-standard and unused agricultural products, we aim to reduce food loss and contribute to the future of agriculture. Using technologies such as low-temperature drying to make the most of the ingredients’ taste and nutrition, we don’t let it end at “what a waste”—we transform them into products of value. Reconnecting the circulation of Japanese farming and food in a sustainable form. That is the sustainable challenge Agriture takes on.

Uses non-standard vegetables

For the dried vegetable raw materials we handle, we source from producers in a non-standard-friendly manner.

Fair trade with the makers

Non-standard vegetables may seem cheap to buy, but we trade at fair prices.

Processing structure through agriculture-welfare collaboration

We manufacture products in cooperation with welfare facilities in northern Kyoto.
