Product Overview of Dried Peach (Nagano-grown)

This dried fruit slices fully ripe peaches grown by partner farmers in Nagano and firmly removes the moisture for a crisp texture. Unlike the general semi-dried type, it is characterized by a light, crunchy bite and the concentrated peach sweetness that spreads with each chew. Put it in your mouth and a mellow aroma wafts gently, letting you enjoy the flavor of the ingredient just as it is.

It uses no sugar or glucose whatsoever, additive-free and uncolored. Well suited to long-term storage, it is used not only for snack applications and confectionery ingredients but also for developing high-value-added OEM products.

Three Commitments Behind Our Dried Peach

01 Using Nagano-grown fully ripe peaches

We use fully ripe peaches grown by partner farmers within Nagano as the raw material. Only fruit with sugar content and aroma firmly built up through the temperature swings of the elevation difference is fed into the processing line.

02 A distinctive crisp texture

Unlike general semi-dried peach, it is characterized by firmly removing the moisture for a light, crisp texture. Concentrated sweetness and mellow aroma spread with each chew.

03 Unsweetened, additive-free, uncolored

Using no sugars, coloring, preservatives, or flavorings whatsoever, the only raw material is peach. It is designed as a clean-label material easy for natural- and craft-oriented brands to handle.

Features of Commercial Dried Peach

Nagano-grown fully ripe peach

Uses Nagano-grown fully ripe peaches. The day-night temperature swings from the elevation difference draw out sweetness and aroma, and it is fruit whose flavor resists wavering even after processing.

Thin slices, fully dried

The thin-slice, fully dried type is a shape usable as-is for snack and topping applications. Its light—rather than moist—texture is a feature.

A light, crisp texture

The light bite from full drying is a clear differentiating point from general semi-dried peach. It suits product designs chosen for their texture.

6-month room-temperature storage

Unlike fresh peaches, room-temperature storage of six months is possible, and being able to supply the product across seasons is an advantage as a commercial material.

Small-lot 100g support

Handled from a minimum of 10 bags in 100 g units. We can flexibly support small confectionery makers and tea brands from prototyping through mass production.

Powder-processing support

Through powder processing, it can also be used as a flavoring material for confectionery and beverages. You can spread the natural peach aroma through drinks and sweets.

Commitments to variety, grower, and growing region

BRAND

Cultivar:Uses fully ripe peaches grown in Nagano. Using processing suitability, aroma, and sugar-content balance as criteria, we adjust the variety with our partner farmers.

PRODUCER

Producer:Working with partner farmers within Nagano, we procure from routes where the cultivation history can be traced. Timed to full ripeness, we send it to processing right after harvest.

REGION

Production area:Nagano. An environment where peaches' inherent sweetness and aroma stand out thanks to the temperature swings characteristic of high-elevation areas.

CULTIVATION

Cultivation method:Centered on open-field cultivation, we use peaches harvested at the peak of ripeness for processing. By shortening the time from harvest to processing, we maintain the flavor.

A crisp texture finished by low-temperature, long-time drying

Peach is a fruit high in moisture and sugar content, and ordinary drying tends toward a semi-dried to moist finish, but at Agriture, low-temperature, long-time drying removes moisture all the way to the core, achieving a distinctive crisp texture. Sweetness and aroma spread the more you chew, delivering a pleasant texture experience with a light bite.

💡 TIPS | Drying-processing trivia

Because peach has delicate aroma compounds, high-temperature drying tends to lose the aroma. A low-temperature, long-time drying method keeps the aroma while removing moisture firmly to full dryness, achieving both a distinctive crisp texture and a mellow aroma. After opening, sealing it up and avoiding humidity helps keep the texture.

Scenarios for Using Commercial Dried Peach

Granola and cereal

It can be used as a topping material for granola, muesli, protein bars, and energy bars. The distinctive crisp texture becomes an accent, and the peach aroma raises the product's impression. It distributes at room temperature and is a material easy to build into cereal-type products year-round.

Confectionery and baked confections

It can be used as a kneading-in or topping for baked goods, cookies, muffins, pound cakes, and tarts. Because no sugar is added, peach's inherent aroma comes alive, and because the flavor remains after baking, it suits craft sweets that make peach the star.

Black tea and herbal tea

It can be used as an ingredient for fruit teas and herbal blends that make the most of the peach aroma. Pour hot water and the aroma rises, and peach-flavored blend teas are also popular as seasonal gifts. Because it is a dried product, the aroma is stable, and the same quality can be achieved year-round.

Gift and snack products

It can be used in small-bag snacks, fruit mixes, and dried-fruit assortment gifts. The distinctive crisp texture is fun to eat as-is and becomes the product's individuality. The choice of supply formats such as individual packs or loose material also suits product development.

OEM and premium products

With the material story of being Nagano-grown and the differentiating point of a distinctive crisp texture, it can be used in product plans for premium gifts and craft brands. Because the raw-material origin can be clearly stated, it is a material well suited to designing added-value products that promote the region.

How to Use Commercial Dried Peach and Related Cases

Agriture's dried peach can be used in a wide range of ways: as a snack or topping material just as it is, crushed finely and kneaded into baked goods or chocolate, or powdered for use in a drink base. With its crisp texture and clean, unsweetened, additive-free material design, it has a track record of OEM inquiries for premium gift products and craft brands.

Yakuzen properties (for fresh peach)

What we introduce here is yakuzen thinking about fresh peach before drying. It does not guarantee the properties of the dried product itself; please use it as reference information for understanding the nature of the material.

In yakuzen thinking, peach is a fruit considered to have the action of supplementing qi and generating body fluids. It is especially expected to have an action that eases dryness of the lungs and throat, and is regarded as an ingredient easy to incorporate in dry seasons or when fatigue has built up.

💡 TIPS | Yakuzen trivia

Peach is considered an ingredient that nourishes yin fluids and helps moisten the whole body, and is said to be good to incorporate into desserts, smoothies, and compotes in dry seasons. It is a material easy to apply to plans that want to bring a yakuzen perspective into the product story.

Because dried peach is easy to carry and lets you bring the peach flavor into products year-round, it can also be used as a material for products that develop a seasonal story.
