Food Development Exhibition 2026

Food Development Exhibition 2026 is one of Japan's top-class trade shows, gathering every area that supports food development—ingredients, technology, manufacturing, safety and hygiene, food long-life, and more. The dates are October 14 to 16, 2026, and the venue is Tokyo Big Sight West Halls 1, 2, and 4 and the Atrium. It is organized by Informa Markets Japan Co., Ltd. The exhibit fields include health and functional ingredients, tasting technologies for taste and texture, safety/hygiene and analysis, manufacturing efficiency and DX, freshness-keeping and shelf-life-extension technologies, and upcycled ingredients. The visitor scope spans a wide range, including food manufacturers, beverage and confectionery makers, OEM and contract-processing operators, retail/distribution/foodservice buyers, and R&D departments. It anticipates over 1,100 booths and over 40,000 visitors, and although large-scale, it is designed with a focus on business talks. Business-talk booths, exhibitor presentations, commemorative seminars, and more are held concurrently, enabling immediate business matching while learning the latest ingredient and technology trends. For companies involved in food development, manufacturing, and distribution, it is a prime opportunity to achieve everything end-to-end, from new-product development to strengthening the manufacturing structure and expanding sales channels.
