FABEX Tokyo

FABEX Tokyo 2026 is one of Japan's largest trade shows, covering commercial foods, ingredients, processing machinery, packaging materials, and store equipment for the prepared-food, boxed-meal, home-meal-replacement, restaurant, and meal-service industries. It is held Wednesday, April 15 to Friday, April 17, 2026, with the venue being Tokyo Big Sight. Food manufacturers, trading firms, restaurant chains, and retail and home-meal-replacement businesses gather from across the country, holding business meetings and matchmaking with exhibiting companies.

The exhibiting scope spans a wide range—from ingredient fields such as prepared and ready-to-eat foods, frozen foods, seasonings and spices, beverages and fats and oils, and health and nursing-care foods, to food-processing and packaging machinery, kitchen equipment, freshness-preservation and hygiene-management equipment, containers and packaging, and sales-promotion and information systems. Visitors are supermarkets from across the country, restaurant and home-meal-replacement companies, meal-service and meal-delivery services, and confectionery and bread industry people, centering on practical visits aimed at business meetings.

The venue also hosts seminars and demonstrations, taking up field-specific themes such as the latest trends, cooking technology, and logistics, hygiene, and sales promotion. It is drawing attention as a practical trade show for creating new food businesses across industry boundaries.
