Kujo negi coffee

The unique and fragrant "Kujo negi coffee," made with Kyoto's representative heirloom vegetable "Kujo negi," has arrived. Though onion and coffee seem an unexpected combination at first glance, Kujo negi's faint sweetness and toastiness match exquisitely with coffee's rich flavor.

This Kujo negi coffee uses special roasting technology to draw out Kujo negi's umami while harmonizing it without spoiling coffee's mellow aroma. As a result, it finishes into a cup that is bitter yet mellow, offering a deep flavor found nowhere else.

Shogoin daikon coffee

The novel and mellow "Shogoin daikon coffee," made with Kyoto's heirloom vegetable "Shogoin daikon," has been born. This distinctive combination magnificently fuses the gentle sweetness of Shogoin daikon nurtured by Kyoto's climate with coffee's rich, deep flavor.

Shogoin daikon is characterized by a mellower sweetness than ordinary daikon, bringing a natural sweetness to coffee. Furthermore, thanks to a unique roasting technology, the daikon's umami and the deep toastiness of the coffee beans are brought out in good balance, and while the mouthfeel is mellow, you can enjoy a firm flavor.

Fushimi chili pepper coffee

We introduce the somewhat unusual "Fushimi chili pepper coffee," made with Kyoto's heirloom vegetable "Fushimi chili pepper." You can enjoy a unique flavor where the faint pungency and sweetness of Fushimi chili pepper add an exquisite accent to coffee's deep richness and toastiness.

Fushimi chili pepper is characterized by a milder pungency and stronger sweetness than ordinary chili peppers. Making use of this trait, it brings a natural sweetness and a slightly sharp stimulation to coffee, achieving a new drinking sensation unlike any before. Adopting a special roasting method, it draws out the flavor of Fushimi chili pepper while harmonizing it with coffee's rich flavor.
