We have begun handling coconut
Agriture has newly begun handling coconut materials based on fair-trade principles. It's an effort to support the region's sustainable agriculture and livelihoods by connecting directly with farmers in the growing regions and trading fairly.
Coconut is a crop widely produced mainly in Asia, but many producers are placed in harsh conditions by low-price competition and the effects of climate change. Against this backdrop, sourcing at fair prices and building ongoing partnerships not only protects producers' livelihoods but also leads to delivering food materials consumers can trust.
Products handled
Agriture has to date made dried vegetables and fruits using off-grade vegetables and surplus resources, and through this new handling of coconut we will support even broader sustainable food development.
