Oryzae Co., Ltd.

Maple & apple granola using dried apple
Under the mission of "fermenting the earth," Oryze Inc. — which manufactures and sells sugar-free, additive-free, gluten-free granola and rice-koji sauces built around rice koji — used our dried apple to develop a limited-time maple & apple granola.

Oryze's commitment
This time, to bring out the deliciousness of dried apple, they combined it with fragrant cinnamon and maple. Kneading cinnamon into the dough, coating the finish in maple sugar, and adding walnuts for a textural accent, they finished a product that is satisfying to eat with a hint of sweetness.ORYZAE HP

Upcycling off-spec apples
The apples we use are Nagano-grown "leaf-left Shinshu apples," cultivated as naturally as possible. Leaf-left apples, in which photosynthesis by the leaves generates sugar and the flesh fills with honey, are exceptionally sweet and juicy.
Even such apples can become off-spec by falling from the tree or by uneven sun exposure. We processed those apples into sticks at high temperature.Details on dried apple
Product development using dried vegetables
At Agriture, we'll develop our business toward sustainable food sourcing and food-loss reduction—not only dried vegetables that upcycle off-grade vegetables, but also Kyoto vegetables and heirloom vegetables from other regions.
If your company is considering adopting dried vegetables, please inquire with us.
