A Google Search feature that prioritizes showing your preferred sites has started in Japan

グーグルは、検索画面の「トップニュース」に優先的に表示させたいメディアやサイトを利用者自身が選べる新機能「プリファード・ソース」を、日本語でも使えるようにしました。通常、トップニュースの検索結果はグーグル独自のアルゴリズムによって決まります。しかしこの機能を有効にすると、利用者があらかじめ登録したメディアやサイトの記事が優先的に並ぶようになる。

同機能はこれまで英語圏の利用者だけを対象としていたが、日本語をはじめとする他言語へと提供範囲が広げられた。
